Best locations and strategies for placing QR codes in your venue.

Where you place your QR codes impacts scan success and guest experience. Follow these recommendations to maximize usability.
Best locations per Space type
- Tables: center of the table with table tent or sticker on table edge.
- Bar seats: on the bar counter near each seat.
- Hotel rooms: inside the welcome folder, on the desk, or near the bedside table.
- Outdoor seating: weatherproof stands on each table.
For outdoor placements use weatherproof and UV-resistant materials.
Placement tips
- Place QR codes at a comfortable scanning height (tabletop or counter level).
- Avoid placing QR codes near bright lights or reflective surfaces.
- Ensure there’s a short instruction near QR code: “Scan to view menu & order”.
- Include the Space identifier (e.g., Table #) for staff clarity.
