Spaces Overview
A Space represents the specific area where guests are served — for example a table in a restaurant, a seat in a venue, or a room in a hotel. Spaces are the units that guests scan or interact with via QR codes and that staff use to manage orders and service.
This section explains how Spaces work, why they matter, and where they appear in DyneOne.
- Space = physical service location: table, seat, room, or any service point.
- Linked to a Spot: each Space belongs to a Spot (your business location).
- Used for orders & actions: orders, menu browsing, and menu actions are tied to a Space.
Plan your Space layout carefully — well-defined Spaces improve order routing, reporting, and guest experience.
Where Spaces appear
- Guest view: displayed when scanning a Space QR code.
- Partner dashboard: Spaces listed under the Spot's management area.
- Orders Dashboard: shows which Space each order or request originated from.
